Ukiyo-e printmaker. Life obscure. The go of Izumi Shoyu and Shoyu were used onlu about 1787. First a pupil of Katsukawa Shunsho, producing actor prints and historical scenes in the Katsukawa manner. Later, under the influence of Torii Kiyonaga, made bijinga in the style of Kiyonaga.
