Ukiyo-e printmaker. Pupil of Kunisada. At first signed his prints Baido Kunimasa III or Kunimasa, pupil of Kochoro; in 1846 married his master’s daughter, took go of Kunisada II and used with it the go of Kochoro and Ichijusai. About 1870, after Kunisada s death, began to use go of Touokuni IV. His prints, largely done in garish aniline colors, represent the tasteless exaggerated style of late ukiyo-e.
