Ukiyo-e painter, printmaker. Life uknown except that, with Hosoda Eiri, was a pupil of Hosoda Eishi. Produced  few paintings, many prints; specialized  in okubi-e and bijinga, the latter less idyllic, more robust and lifelike than Eishi’s.
